Amekporkofe
(Ah-meh-por-kor-feh)
The people in this remote village in the South Volta region of Ghana speak the Ewe language, which is the second most spoken language in the country. In faith, it has now been gifted the solar powered light pole with the Gospel being declared over the speakers and the first lights in a village which has no electricity.
On the day the pole was installed and went live, the village Chief hosted a thank you ceremony to the team, and proclaimed, “We hope to use it to the benefit of God and mankind.”
